You will need an ID, either your BruinCard or passport. Internet
connection can be accessed with your Bruin Logon ID and also after installing
an Anti-Virus software. If you do not have a computer, go to Ackerman Student
Store or the 2nd-level of Ackerman Union and use the computers there. Do not
use any P2P software including Torrent as the university has a contract with
Paramount. If you are caught sharing any movies or music files without
permission, you will be given first warning (consists of a 2-3 hours talk and 4-5
pages of essays). A second offense will result in $3,000 for each song you
upload and even more for a movie. It takes 4 seconds to detect any uploading or
downloading. So, if you want to download anything, use RapidShare or similar
website. Downloading is not illegal but uploading is! Yet, that is true is the
content is not copyrighted. We don't endorse or approve of any illegal activities here, so be smart. Talk to your RA when you are not sure with the policy.

arrive earlier than your roommate(s). Zero week is the best opportunity to bond
