Taxis are less common in UCLA than other part of LA and are the
most expensive. It costs $60 to get to LAX (13 miles) or $40 to reach downtown
LA (10 miles) which take about 40 minutes to an hour for both, depending on
traffic.
It is advisable to look up on the Internet for different taxi
companies and the fare quotes. You are expected to tip them 15% of the bill.
